Refund Policy

This page explains what happens if you need to cancel or reschedule your home safety assessment. We want this to be straightforward, so the rules are written in plain language with the actual dollar amounts. SAIF ENVISION is the trade name of SAIFINZ LLC.

The short version

The assessment is a flat $295 fee, paid when you book. If life happens and you need to cancel, what you get back depends on how much notice you can give us:

  • 48 hours or more before your appointment: full refund.
  • Less than 48 hours before your appointment: we keep 50% ($148) and refund the rest ($147).
  • Same-day cancellation or no-show: we keep the full $295.
  • Medical emergency for the older adult: one free reschedule, no fee, with documentation.

Why 48 hours

Each visit takes about 90 minutes on site, plus drive time and another couple of hours to write up your photo-documented action plan. When a visit is canceled at the last minute, that block of time usually cannot be filled with another family. Forty-eight hours of notice gives us a fair chance to reschedule the day.

Cancel 48 hours or more ahead

If you let us know at least 48 hours before the scheduled start time of your assessment, you get a full refund of the $295 fee. No questions, no fees withheld.

Cancel less than 48 hours ahead

If you cancel inside the 48-hour window, we keep 50% ($148) to cover the reserved time slot, and refund the remaining $147 to your original payment method.

Same-day cancellations and no-shows

If you cancel on the day of the appointment, or no one is at the home for the scheduled visit, we keep the full $295. This covers the dedicated time, drive, and prep that have already been spent on your visit.

Free reschedule

You can reschedule once at no charge if either of these is true:

  • You ask to reschedule 48 or more hours before the original appointment.
  • The older adult who would be home for the visit has a documented medical emergency, such as a hospital stay or a same-day clinic visit. Just let us know what happened and we will move the appointment without a fee.

Additional reschedules after the first follow the regular cancellation rules above.

How to cancel or reschedule

The fastest way is to call or text. Email also works. When you can, give us at least 48 hours notice — it helps everyone.

How refunds are issued

Refunds go back to the original payment method through our payment processor (Stripe). Most refunds appear on the original card or bank account within 5 to 10 business days, depending on your bank.

If a refund has not arrived after 10 business days, email us at zohair@saifenvision.com and we will track it down with the processor.

What this policy is not

This is the cancellation and refund policy for the senior home safety assessment service. It is not a guarantee about the home itself, and the assessment is not a medical evaluation, a licensed home inspection, or a contractor estimate. The action plan you receive is independent guidance you can take to whichever providers you choose.
