Zohair Zakavi came to home safety after decades of hands-on work: running small businesses in sign repair, handyman work, and computer and IT repair, and working in autonomous vehicles in the transportation industry. Caring for his own aging parents, including his mother who lived with dementia, made it personal. He is a Certified Senior Home Safety Specialist (SHSS) through Age Safe America and works as an independent consultant, not a contractor or medical provider, so his guidance stays focused on safety, not sales.
